Oceans: Our Oxygen Source

Hi, quadruplets!

How was your day? I’m super excited to share some amazing science facts with you! Did you know that oceans produce more oxygen than all the trees combined? Isn’t that cool? A lot of schools tell us that only trees help us breathe, but the oceans are really important too! Tiny plants called phytoplankton make about 50% to 80% of the oxygen we breathe! Can you believe that one little phytoplankton cell can produce half of our oxygen? These tiny guys also help keep our planet's climate balanced by soaking up carbon dioxide!

I can’t wait to be back soon so we can jump into our new science project together! We’ve got five awesome projects to do, and daddy loves it when we work as a team! So far, we’ve planted seeds in a polybag and watered them every day—guess what? Our trees are growing! We had so much fun with a bubble experiment and we went on a nature walk to collect leaves, stones, and flowers. Plus, we did a cool experiment to see what floats and sinks with toys, coins and sponges in a water bin. We even mixed colors using cups of water and food coloring!

It’s 11 PM on the dot. I need to go to work now. Papai.

Always love,
Daddy
