Every person in the world experiences emotions just like you do. We are human, and it's natural to have weaknesses. It's common to feel sad, depressed, anxious, and worried. Sometimes, we might think these feelings don't represent who we truly are. But, enduring these challenging times is part of our growth as people. The Quran states, "Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: 'We believe,' and will not be tested?" (Qur'an, 29:2). So, don't lose hope. Everyone faces their own trials in life. Allah mentioned in Quran "And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits…” (Qur'an, 2:155). God has gifted us the ability to understand and experience these emotions. Remember, when the challenges increase, the rewards can be even bigger. The hardest trials are given to the strongest people. Allow yourself to feel what you need to and then let it pass. Forgive those who have wronged you. Holding onto resentment is like carrying a heavy load.
There might be times when we don't like ourselves for carrying burdens we wish to shed. We want to let them go, but something within us holds us back, and we can't figure out why. Not all questions have clear answers. We just need to keep moving forward, learning to find joy even during the stormiest weather. Life is full of ups and downs, and problems will come and go. As a wise person once said, the key to happiness is to enjoy every moment of our life while we work through our issues. Always remember, "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear…” (Quran, 2:286)
