Pure joy

I went to the cemetery to honor Ummi, Carl, and Zharif. After that, I went to the flower shop and bought four bouquets of flowers. My plan was to give one bouquet to my wife, another to my mother-in-law, a third to my wife's grandmother, and the last one to the founder of the orphanage where I have been living for almost two years. When I saw the founder, she looked healthy and happy. This is the place where I first met my late adopted mom. It feels like home to me, where I truly belong.

I wanted to bring some joy to the children at the orphanage, so I bought them lunch and treated them to some delicious treats. I got them a slice of Secret Recipe marble cheesecake, and a cup of Starbucks double chocolaty chip creme frappuccino. Their faces lit up with happiness as they enjoyed the special treats. It made me nostalgic and reminded me of the pure joy I used to feel when I had a meal all to myself, without having to share it with anyone else.
