Today, I'm taking all of my children to Tsutaya Bookstore in Bukit Jalil. It's my first visit to this place since it opened. Tsutaya is a spacious bookstore imported from Japan, known for its elegant decor. It houses an impressive collection of nearly 240,000 books for sale. To uphold their quality standards, every book undergoes a careful process of being wrapped in transparent plastic covers. This precautionary measure is taken due to previous instances of ill-behaved customers mishandling the books, leading to instances of vandalism, removed covers, and torn pages. By diligently encasing the books in protective plastic, the bookstore aims to safeguard them against potential damage and maintain their pristine condition.
